Replacing the old worn pin will reduce further wear to the master cylinder push rod on the back of the master cylinder. You probably should check the master cylinder push rod to see if it is egged out. Slop in the system reduces braking performance. We do have replacement forks available. It is especially important, if you just purchased a new master cylinder, to put a pin in that is not worn. Pin has two grooves one for the the retaining clip and the other for the return spring. |
